Been waiting to write this one up for a while. So much love here, it was crazy. The ceremony was gorgeous; the site, the words, and the moments as well. When the officiant opened his mouth for the first time and spoke, I think rays of light emanated forth, and thus, I shed but a single tear. That’s saying something – for my tears are as valuable as Phoenix tears – they can mend any wound. But enough Harry Potter trivia and silliness. Scott and Jeanne do share an insane amount of love, and it was a wedding I was proud to photograph and attend.
We had lots of luck, from an amazing spot, great light, and some rain that was in the forecast, but held off for just long enough. Come on up to Mt. Tam with me and check out this amazing wedding!

This was so much fun to watch. Jeanne spots her parents and then just go bounding up the hill to embrace them. Thank goodness for long lenses. No way could I keep up with her! And you gotta love the hiking boots 🙂

I think if I was asked to make a T-shirt for Jeanne, it would read, "Goofballs Are Gorgeous".

I love people who've obtained wisdom through the years. These two fine gents tickled the ivories and sang a few ditties. I felt like I was in in a bar in England post footbal match. Totally awesome.

Lots of photos to go through in this edition, but I think they were worth it. Scott and Jeanne, thank you for “trusting your gut” and going with me as your photographer. There are so many incredible photographers here in the SF Bay area, and for you to choose me, well, I’m honored. Your day was absolutely incredible and I think I am in better shape for having covered it. I felt no shame in having seconds on cake 🙂
